Discovery announces the release of the new Eddy Jet 2 for spiral plating bacterial colonies

18-Oct-2011 The new Eddy Jet 2 spiral plater is cleaner and faster than the original Eddy Jet that was introduced over 10 years ago. This novel instrument uses economically-priced disposable gamma-irradiated syringes to plate each sample and thereby eliminate cross-contamination and the need for vacuum pumps and time-consuming wash cycles.
