Description

This DNA Workstation has been designed to decontaminate reagents and equipment prior to carrying out PCR reactions. The powerful 30 W UV lamps (254 nm) denature nucleic acids in 5-30 minutes making them unsuitable for amplification and therefore eliminating any possible cross contamination. The DNA Workstation is also equipped with a white lamp for illumination. The 10 mm glass walls also act as efficient shields against beta-radioactive emissions. The DNA Workstation provides a working area of 47.2" x 20.5" (120 cm x 52 cm: L x W).
